"Walking Football is a team sport primarily for women 40+ and men 50+ years, of all backgrounds, skill, abilities and fitness levels.
It is a version of football where players walk instead of run.
It is designed to help people get fit and maintain an active healthy lifestyle.
Participants have fun, increase their physical exercise, meet new friends and enjoy a bit of team banter in both a social and competitive setting"
Social Walking Football
For all Fitness Levels
Walking football is a low impact, no contact game where the ball must remain under head height.
There is no running or jogging.
There is no heading.
Tackles from behind or side are not allowed.
No Experience necessary
We welcome and support new players of all abilities and regularly mix up players in teams so that you can learn alongside other new players, then be challenged playing alongside more skilled players.
We often start with a skills training sessions, but always play a Social Walking Football Game on Sundays from 8:30am at Soccer5s.
Friendship and Fun
Our Social Walking Football is all inclusive with the focus on having fun, learning, friendship and enjoyment.
Competitive Walking Football
Local Cups to World Stage
We regularly participate in both Social and Competitive tournaments throughout Australia and Overseas bringing together first time players, experienced players and even Australian representatives.
Tournament Formats
Regular tournaments are available
across Australia and Overseas.
Teams of 5 or 6 players.
With and without Goalkeepers.
Pitches from 25m x 35m to 37m x 55m.
Goals from 3m x1.2m to 5m x 2m.
Game durations from 10 min to 30 mins.
Suitable for all Players
Depending on the location, you can play in a:
